NORKA Care is a comprehensive health and accident insurance scheme by the Government of Kerala for Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) and their families. It provides up to ?5 lakh in health insurance, ?10 lakh in accidental death coverage, and covers pre-existing diseases with no initial waiting period, valid across 14,000+ Indian hospitals

Comprehensive Health Coverage: Up to ?5,00,000 for inpatient hospitalization (including ICU and room rent).

Accident Coverage: Up to ?10 lakh for accidental death and permanent disability.

Family Floater Plan: Covers the primary applicant, spouse, and up to 2 children (under 25).

Pre-existing Diseases: Covered from day one (30-day waiting period is waived).

Pre & Post-Hospitalization: 30 days prior and 60 days post-discharge coverage.

Cashless Treatment: Access to over 14,000+ network hospitals across India, including 500+ in Kerala.

International Repatriation: Coverage of ?50,000 for body repatriation from outside India.

Eligibility: Valid NORKA Pravasi ID cardholders, students studying abroad, and NRKs in other Indian states.

Family Plan Premium: Approximately ?13,411 (including GST) per year.

Individual Plan Premium (18-70 years): Approximately ?8,101 per year.

Policy Details

Validity: 1-year renewable policy.

Claim Submission: 60-day window after discharge.
