The Kerala Pravasi Kshemanidhi (Kerala Pravasi Welfare Fund) provides financial security to Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs), offering a monthly pension of at least 2,000–?7,000 after age 60, alongside benefits for education, marriage, medical emergencies, and maternity, provided they have continuously remitted contributions for at least 2–5 years.

Pension: Members receive a monthly pension of ?2,000 or more upon reaching 60 years of age, provided they have made contributions for at least 5 consecutive years. Family Pension: If a member passes away after becoming eligible for the pension, the nominee receives a family pension (50% of the pension amount).

Medical Assistance: Up to ?50,000 is provided for the treatment of critical illnesses, provided they haven't received benefits from other schemes.

Educational Grant: Children of members who have consistently paid contributions for at least 2 years are eligible for educational support.

Marriage Assistance: Female members or members with daughters can receive up to ?10,000 for marriage expenses (maximum twice) after 3 years of contribution.

Maternity Benefits: Female members who have contributed for two years receive up to ?3,000 for maternity expenses.

Death Benefits: Dependents receive financial assistance ranging from ?20,000 to ?50,000 in case of the member's death.

Disability Pension: A monthly, proportional pension is available for members who become physically unable to work after contributing for at least 3 years.

Loan Benefits: The scheme offers a 5% subsidy on housing loans up to ?20 lakhs.

Eligibility: Any Non-Resident Keralite (NRK) aged between 18 and 55 who has worked outside Kerala (either abroad or in other Indian states) for at least 6 months
