The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) Women’s Forum, in association with GDG Doha, successfully organized the Build with AI – Beginner Session on 4 July 2026, promoting AI awareness, digital skills, and technology learning within the community. The program was opened by Ms. Nandini Abbagouni, Head of Cultural Activities, ICC, who welcomed the gathering and introduced the objectives of the session, highlighting the ICC Women’s Forum’s commitment to creating inclusive learning platforms that make emerging technologies more accessible and encourage skill development across the community through collaborative initiatives.

Mr. Nabeel Shekhani delivered the opening remarks, introducing GDG Doha and its mission of fostering innovation and knowledge sharing. Mr. Abraham Joseph, General Secretary, ICC, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of making Artificial Intelligence more accessible to everyone and encouraging the community to embrace emerging technologies through such learning initiatives.

This was followed by the presidential address by Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, Vice President, ICC, who highlighted that the Build with AI initiative is envisioned as a series of learning sessions aimed at equipping the community with practical AI knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The organizers—Mr. Arijit Mukherjee, Mr. Nabeel Shekhani, and Mr. Ala’a Ibrahim—along with the session speaker, Ms. Addalin Lariena Rose, were felicitated for their support and valuable contributions. The inaugural ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Anjana Menon, Chairwoman, ICC Women’s Forum. The speaker introduced participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, AI tools, and emerging opportunities. The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation and was well received by the attendees.
